Jackson French Dominates as Esports Battles in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Toms River, NJ - OCC Esports' Jackson French continued his winning ways in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, with a 3-0 shutout victory against Hinds Community College on Wednesday (2/23). Jackson improves to 2-0 on the season with the win. Conner Zaccagna was not as fortunate, losing to Community College of Beaver County by a 3-1 score. Conner slips to 1-3 overall. Additionally, Justin Ritter lifted his record to 2-0 via a bye win.
"Jackson has the most SSBU wins in school history and it will be a very difficult record to break," commented OCC Esports Head Coach John Ruhl. "Conner had a minor setback and lost a close 3-1 game to CC Beaver. Conner is a returning playoff qualifier and now every game will matter for the rest of the season. Justin had 2 early byes, which help his playoff chances. The competition keeps getting better, but I would be surprised if all the Vikings don't qualify for playoffs."
