OCC Alumna Hailey Dries Honored at 28th Annual National Girls & Women in Sports Award Luncheon
Toms River, NJ - Ocean County College alumna Hailey Dries was named a “Woman of the Year” at the 28th Annual National Girls & Women in Sports Award Luncheon, held February 9th at Seton Hall University. Dries, a two-year starting pitcher for the OCC Vikings Softball team from 2017-19, earned both NJCAA All-Region XIX and All-Garden State Athletic Conference Team honors in both of her seasons played, and finished her OCC athletic career ranked first in team history with 249 total strikeouts, and tied for first with 26 wins.
The National Girls and Women in Sports Awards recognize outstanding student-athletes throughout NJ who have made significant contributions to their institution and community through athletic accomplishments, academic success, and community involvement. Congratulations to Hailey for receiving this prestigious recognition.
