French, Ritter With Shutout Smash Wins as OCC Esports Rolls Through Week 3

Toms River, NJ - After picking up singles wins in the first 2 weeks of the season, OCC Esports showed no signs of slowing in week 3, as the Vikings shut out their competition, delivering consecutive 3-0 wins in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Jackson French remains undefeated on the season, with a 3-0 victory against Montgomery County Community College, while Justin Ritter looked to be in midseason form in a 3-0 takedown of Dallas College - North Lake. Both French and Ritter are 3-0 in Smash play this season. The team capped off the undefeated night with Conner Zaccagna securing a forfeit win over SUNY Broome.
"Justin looked dominant on stream tonight," remarked OCC Esports Head Coach John Ruhl. "He picked up some new mains to play more wifi-compatible characters, and it's really worked out. Jackson continues to roll through the regular season. Conner is 2-0 and qualified for the playoffs last year. He had some early trouble just like last season, but I'm sure we will have 3 Vikings in the playoffs. Hopefully, Conner and Justin turn a corner this year and join Jackson with deep playoff runs."
