OCC Baseball's Anthony Eckerson Named GSAC D-III Position Player of the Week

Toms River, NJ - Congratulations to Ocean County College Baseball's Anthony Eckerson (Forked River, NJ/Lacey Township H.S.), who has been named Garden State Athletic Conference (GSAC) D-III Position Player of the Week!

Anthony was a nearly impossible out in the batter's box last week, with the leadoff hitter batting 11-for-19 with 2 doubles, a triple, and 5 RBI through 4 games. The sophomore team captain has played no small part in Ocean's current 6-game win streak, and is a key to the team's future success.
