1) What is the most important skill you have developed in your academic/athletic career? The most important skill I have developed in my academic/athletic career would be leadership.
2) Who has been the most influential person in your life? The most influential person in my life must be the athletic trainer at OCC, Scott Royer. He treats everyone like family and somehow always knows what to say. He helped me fully recover from my ACL reconstruction surgery, and I've noticed I go to him with most personal problems also.
3) What is one item you cannot live without? One item I cannot live without would have to be chapstick.
4) What is your favorite "go-to" snack? My favorite go-to snack would be an avocado.
5) What are your top three warm-up songs? My top three favorite warm-up songs are "Jungle" by X Ambassadors, "Hasta la Vista" by Lil Wayne, and "Godzilla" by Eminem.
6) What is your favorite movie or TV Show? My favorite movie is Just Go With It, and my favorite TV show is The 100.
7) What is the most memorable sporting event that you have ever attended? The most memorable sporting event that I have attended was when my travel soccer team went to Florida for a week to play against some of the best teams in the country.
8) What is your favorite memory from playing on an OCC team? I can’t just pick one favorite memory from playing on an OCC team. I have made countless memories and lifelong friends from being an athlete at the school. Soccer season ended in November and I continue to see my teammates and some of the guys who played also almost every week.
9) If you could have one superpower, which would you choose? If I could have one superpower, l would choose being capable of reading people’s minds.
10) Who would you most like to switch places with for a day, and why? I would like to switch places with a less fortunate person for a day. I feel as though everyone forgets how privileged they are, and sometimes they take that for granted.
11) Who is your favorite athlete? My favorite athlete is Julie Ertz.
12) What advice would you give someone looking to participate in athletics at the junior college level? The advice I would give to someone looking to participate in athletics at the junior college level would be "go for it." I feel as though JUCO sports are frowned upon and no one truly understands the advantages they have to offer. I made the best decision when I transferred back to OCC because not only did it save me money, it has helped me academically and athletically get prepared for the next level.
