Vikings Victorious in Week 8 of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Toms River, NJ - OCC Esports continued their winning ways on the virtual battlefield known as Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, with Jackson French and Justin Ritter picking up victories in week 8. French earned a 3-2 win versus Nassau Community College, while Ritter secured a 3-1 triumph against Rockland Community College.

"Jackson won a super close 3-1 set. I think this was a great challenge for him during the season," remarked OCC Esports Head Coach John Ruhl. "It should springboard him to success in the playoffs this season. Jackson is looking to get over the hump and secure a national championship and become the second OCC national champion."

"Justin is having the type of season I expected him to have last year," Ruhl continued. "He has suffered one loss, but bounced back and looks better each week. This is the most consistent team we've had in SSBU yet. We're only going to keep improving."
