Seven Future Vikings Win Group III, Group IV State Championships
Toms River, NJ - OCC Baseball Head and Assistant Coaches Ed McRae and John Dolan traveled to Veterans Park in Hamilton Township, NJ on Saturday (6/18) to watch the 2022 NJSIAA Group IV state tournament championship game between the Rebels of Howell High School and the Hunterdon Central High School Red Devils. Howell won their 1st Group IV championship in school history, with a 9-8 victory, and Coach McRae was thrilled: "Great day for OCC Baseball. Six of our committed players, J.J. Wojenski, Devon Smith, Ryan Bilello, Nick Todesco, Nick Gomes, and Nick Barracato of Howell H.S., won the Group IV state championship today! Also, incoming Viking Matt Adamson from Middletown North H.S. was the winning pitcher today as they won the Group III state championship. Seven committed OCC students won state championships!"
