Ocean County College Men's Cross Country Named a 2017-18 NJCAA Academic Team of the Year!

Toms River, NJ - The Ocean County College Men's Cross Country program (led by HC Jen Nelson) was named 2017-18 Academic Team of the Year in its category by the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) on Wednesday (6/27).

The 6-man team, comprised of an even mix of 3 freshmen and 3 sophomores, posted a combined 3.49 grade point average this academic year, earning this national distinction.

In addition, OCC's Men's Golf, Women's Tennis, Softball, and Volleyball teams placed among the NJCAA's top 25 academic teams in each of their respective sports.
