Vikings Cross Country Races Through NJIT's Highlander Challenge

Toms River, NJ - Vikings Cross Country competed in NJIT’s Highlander Challenge on Saturday (10/7) and made a strong showing, finishing 11th out of 18 participating Division 2 and 3 schools, 2nd of 3 two-year colleges. Vikings sophomore Noah Reilly led the men’s team, finishing 21st overall out of a field of 141, with an 8k time of 29.03.12. Jessica Reis ran 25.31.72 in the 5k, finishing 113 of 172.
The Vikings' next meet will be on Saturday, October 14 when they travel to Brookdale Community College to participate in the Brookdale Invitational.
