Toms River, NJ - The OCC Vikings baseball team were shutout by #2-ranked Rowan College at Gloucester County (RCGC) on Monday (3/6), in a 4-0 final score. The Vikings received a solid pitching performance from sophomore Drew Zytko, as he shut out the defending Region champions for 6 of the 8 innings he pitched. Solid defense also was a strong point for the Vikings. Tom Pulcine, Quintin Garvin and Tom Ring led the offensive efforts for the Vikings, with one hit each.
The Vikings' next games are against this same opponent, as they travel to RCGC on Wednesday (3/8) for a doubleheader.
