Toms River, NJ - The Ocean County College Vikings baseball team snapped their 7-game losing streak with a big win against GSAC rival Camden County College on Saturday (4/15). Freshman pitcher Dave DeFeo reached a personal milestone, nabbing his first collegiate victory in relief, as the Vikings' bats came alive. Second baseman Juan Nunez went 2-4 with 2 RBI, centerfielder Quintin Garvin was 5-7 with 2 RBI, left fielder Nick D'Arcy hit 4-7 with 2 RBI, and third baseman Tom Pulcine was 3-6 (including two triples), with 2 RBI in the win.
The Vikings return to action on Tuesday (4/18) when they host Middlesex County College in a 3:30 p.m. matchup.
