OCC Vikings Baseball Wins Season Opener

Toms River, NJ - Ocean County College Baseball launched their 2019-20 season on Sunday (3/8) with a 14-10 win at home against Salem Community College. Ocean sophomore Carlos Pacheco won his first decision in relief of starting pitcher Dex Dambroski. Freshman Mike Brunner was the offensive standout - hittiing 3-4 with a double, home run, and 3 RBIs. Ryan Galati and Jimmy Roselli also collected 3 hits apiece, with Roselli hitting 2 doubles. The Vikings dropped the second game of the doubleheader, 3-2, with pitcher Tom Spiwak taking the loss.
Ocean returns to the field on Tuesday (3/10), when they host Montgomery County Community College of Pennsylvania in a single 9-inning game, beginning at 3:30 p.m.
