Toms River, NJ - OCC Vikings Men's Lacrosse picked up a huge Region 19 victory on Wednesday (4/4) with their 19-10 win over the Owls of Union County College. The match started off as a back and forth battle, but it was the Vikings on top as the first half concluded, leading 9-5. Ocean returned from halftime hot, outscoring the Owls 10-5 in the remaining 2 quarters, securing the victory. Leading the Vikings on offense was Nick Parente (6g, 1a), Joe Jinks (3g), and Matt Ferullo (3g, 2a). The entire defensive corps put in an outstanding group effort in the win, bolstered by goaltender Mike Trezza (16 saves), who made some incredible stops to keep the game out of reach for Union.
