Toms River, NJ - OCC Men's Soccer won their 11th match of the season in a 2-1 road win at RCSJ Gloucester on Thursday (10/16).
Ocean forward/midfielder Jefferson Rubi Cruz opened scoring in this match, converting a pass from Julian Marfino in the 7th minute. Cruz would find the back of the net again before the first half was finished, when after receiving a pass from Michael Cendales Ariza, he darted across the Gloucester goal mouth and sent a cross into the right corner to push the Vikings up to a 2-goal lead. Gloucester would score in the 60th minute, but it was not enough. OCC goalkeeper Justin Perrin made 6 difficult stops in the win.
OCC Men's Soccer will next face Harrisburg Area CC (HACC) in their regular season finale this Saturday, October 18 at 12pm.
