OCC Cross Country Finishes Season Strong at Region 19 Championships

Toms River, NJ - Ocean County College Men's and Women's Cross Country wrapped up their 2025 season on Sunday (10/26) at the Region 19 Championships, hosted by Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology, and held at Lancaster County Central Park, in Lancaster, PA.
Ocean women's cross country sophomore Batool Abdelmalak earned All-Region 19 honors for the 2nd straight season, finishing 6th in the women's 5K, a highlight for what had been an impressive season for the Manchester, NJ native.
RESULTS:
Women's 5K
Batool Abdelmalak - 24:33 (6th) (All-Region 19)
Sienna Henninger - 27:46 (12th)
Gianna Browner - 31:22 (21st)
Men's 8K
Nick Disano - 31:51 (16th)
Dan Sharkey - 54:16 (49th)
