Women's Basketball Stopped by Northampton CC, 105-31

Toms River, NJ - OCC Women's Basketball slipped to 0-3 overall after absorbing a 105-31 loss in their home opener versus Northampton CC on Saturday (11/15).
Struck down by an unfortunate injury to starting guard Tatiana Hernandez in pre-game warmups, the Vikings were limited to just 5 active players in this matchup, and gave everything they had to this challenging battle against the Spartans. OCC freshman guard Lola Darcy scored 17 points and brought down 3 rebounds and pulled off 3 steals, while sophomore guard Brooke Schmidt contributed 11 points and 4 rebounds in this loss.
The Vikings next take the court this Thursday, November 20, when they travel to RCSJ Gloucester for a 5pm matchup against the Roadrunners.
