Darcy, Schmidt Strong in Women's Basketball's 82-59 Loss at Atlantic Cape CC

Toms River, NJ - OCC Women's Basketball's 1st win of 2025 continues to duck and dodge them, as the Vikings lost their 6th game to start the season in an 82-59 defeat at Atlantic Cape CC.
The Vikings' dangerous duo of guards Lola Darcy (Point Pleasant, NJ/Point Boro H.S.) and Brooke Schmidt (Lacey, NJ/Lacey Township H.S.) were unstoppable, with Darcy scoring 27 points with 12 rebounds and 6 assists, and Schmidt contributing 28 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals in a loss which saw the Vikings score their most total points thus far this season.
Ocean CC Women's Basketball next takes the court on Thursday, December 4, when they travel to Montgomery County CC for a 5pm matchup.
