Women's Hoops Slips to 1-1 in 2026 Following 74-41 Loss to RCSJ Gloucester

Toms River, NJ - Ocean CC Women's Basketball absorbed a tough 74-41 loss at the hands of the visiting Roadrunners of RCSJ Gloucester on Tuesday (1/13).
The Roadrunners brought every bit of a team with a 12-3 record to bear in this matchup, pressing the Vikings at every turn, and capitalizing on offensive opportunities. The Vikings' dual powerhouses, Brooke Schmidt and Lola Darcy contributed the large majority of Ocean's offensive output, with Darcy scoring 18 points, along with 7 rebounds, and Schmidt 14 points with 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals in the defeat.
The Vikings slip to 1-11 overall, and will next host the Mustangs of Montgomery County CC this Saturday, January 17 at 12pm.
