Toms River, NJ - Ocean County College Women's Soccer shut out RCSJ Cumberland, 7-0 on Tuesday (10/28), to advance to the 2025 Region 19 Championship finals.
OCC sophomore forward Leilani Borges led the charge for the Vikings in this match, with the team captain scoring 3 goals and assisting on another in this dominant win. Sophomore midfielder Katherin Munoz displayed the explosive level of play that earned her All-American honors last season with a goal and an assist today, and freshman defender/midfielder Isabella Compitello, a player whose consistent performances often go missed on the scoresheet, had her best offensive match of the season, contributing a goal and an assist to the winning effort.
The Vikings, who have won the Region 19 championship for the last 3 seasons, will host Brookdale CC this Friday, October 31 at 1:30pm for the chance to hoist the plaque for the 4th consecutive year.
